No, The installer should not write overtop of the configuration files during the upgrade process, even when uninstalling, the data folders are not deleted by Auto 3in1.

The installer is provided by Microsoft, Pocketfleet can not be responsible for unexpected behavior, therefore You should backup your data regularly and before an upgrade as a precaution. Pocketfleet is not responsible for any data loss regardless of the cause, it is up to you to keep records of your entries in the form of receipts and printed exports as well as regular backups. We have added backup routines and made every reasonable effort to assist you in backing up your data.

If you are nervous about loosing data, copy all of the files in the desktop folder C:\Program Files\Pocketfleet\Auto 3in1\Data\ to a floppy or CD and/or copy all of the files in the Pocket PC folder My Documents\3in1 Files to an SD or CF card. (Copy not move) This will put a copy of your data out of the reach of any accidental deletion.

The past draws data is contained in a file named after the lottery, if you re-enter a previous lottery name exactly as it was before, with the same settings, the data should recover.
