Why does Auto 3in1 take so long when exiting the setup?

When you exit the setup, Auto 3in1 checks with the Pocketfleet Server for any Basic bug fixes.  If you have a Firewall in place or are not connected to the internet, Auto 3in1 will cancel the update check and resume, this typically takes about 30 seconds.  You can add Auto3in1 2005.exe to your firewall software to speed up the setup return.

Example:

NO DATA IS TRANSMITTED FROM YOUR SYSTEM!  Auto 3in1 reads the data from the Pocketfleet server ONLY!  At no time does it send any response or information over the internet. No records are kept regarding any update checks, this check is for your convenience and is not required for Auto 3in1 to function.  If you do not allow Auto 3in1 to check with the server, there may be a short time-out delay when exiting the setup menu or when starting Auto 3in1.

Pocketfleet is not responsible for lost data, it is your responsibility to backup your data and retain original input data.  A lack of hard drive media, battery life concerns and third party interaction with data files places the security of data on a Pocket PC at risk, frequent program and system backups are your best defense against data loss.
