Why does the new install say I already have a newer version?
 

This is an error in the value used by windows to identify a newer version.

To install follow these steps on the desktop:

  • Backup your data

  • Using the Windows Control panel click on Remove Programs

  • Remove any copies of Auto 3in1

  • Restart the install program and install both the desktop and Pocket PC editions

  • Vista users will have to use the Install PPC version from the desktop version's Help menu

If you are nervous about loosing data, copy all of the files in the desktop folder C:\Program Files\Pocketfleet\Auto 3in1\Data\ to a floppy or CD and/or copy all of the files in the Pocket PC folder My Documents\3in1 Files to an SD or CF card. (Copy not move) This will put a copy of your data out of the reach of any accidental deletion.

in the unlikely event that the data is erased by the upgrade process, you can then copy it back.
